Angela Kerr
Angela is one of the UK's leading forensic experts on the traumatic head injury and has 16 years experience in brain injury case management working within health authorities, Charitable Trusts and the private sector. Prior to founding AKA Case Management Ltd in 1992, she started out as a registered general nurse before moving into neurosurgical neuromedical nursing. Angela also holds other key skills like teaching and assessing clinical practice and counseling. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Service Management and has read for an MA in Art and Psychotherapy. She is also an advanced member of BABICM and full member of the Case Management Society of the UK (CMSUK).
With a love of travel and other cultures, Angela travels widely not only to source new holiday destinations but to further her experience as a fully trained yoga teacher.
Emma Hart
Somewhat of a 'professional gypsy', Emma originally from New Zealand, has spent the last decade traveling the globe either on television reporting current affairs or behind the scenes in far flung places advising CEOs on how to deal with hard nosed reporters! Her forte is media, marketing and communication, having established Hp Media Limited which advises and trains high level CEOs and company executives on how to present and deal with the press more effectively. Her back ground is a current affairs reporter (Dip Journalism) and presenter having worked for Television New Zealand and at Channel 5, ITN and BBC in the UK.
With a keen and individual sense of travel which regularly sees her off the beaten track, Emma has an insider's viewpoint on brain injury as her mother lives with a traumatic head injury sustained from a car accident in 2001.
