PORTUGAL - The Algarve:
Just two hours from the UK, The Algarve is Portugal's most popular tourist region, with beautiful beaches and gorgeous coves.
To complete the picture there are marine parks, a bubbling nightlife, first-class golf courses and amazing food and wine.
Heads Up Holidays are based in Olhos d'Agua, known as the 'real Algarve'. It's great for families, sun worshippers, golfers and those who like a full range of things to do and places to go.
Just 30 minutes from Faro Airport, Olhos d'Agua means 'Eyes of Water' and has grown from a small fishing village to a lively town only 10 minutes from Albuferia where most of the infamous nightlife is located.
However, as a traditional Algarvian village, Olhos d'Agua has it all but without the tourist crush. You'll find the best beaches, supermarkets, banks, a post office, health centers (both public and private) and too many bars, caf?s and restaurants to mention.
Less than an hour away is the coast around Lagos, with its eerie erosion-formed caves and rock formations. Other areas only a short distance away are Carvoeiro, Lagoa, the historic city of Silves, Portim?o, and Sagres which all boast fantastic shopping and restaurants.

ACCOMMODATION
All our accommodation is based in and around the picturesque town of Olhos d'Agua. We love it here and clients do too as you will find the locals friendly and the local cuisine fresh and tasty. Beaches, shops and local bars are all within walking distance but without the craziness of Albuferia.
Depending on your needs we have a large range of stunning villas with private pools and two and three bedroom apartments. All are executive standard with full kitchens and outdoor living.
We have seen and hand picked all our accommodation so any special requirements can be catered for. We also have a large selection of wheelchair friendly apartments.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Once a date is arranged, we can book flights, car hire and your accommodation. We will also match you with your own dedicated support worker who will be with you as much or as little as you need throughout your holiday and activities.
On arrival in Faro you will be met by our Heads Up Holidays coordinator who will be easily recognisable with a HUH sign. It will be their job to ensure your holiday goes as smoothly as possible.
Within no time you will be on the 30 minute drive to Olhos d'Agua.
We know how tiring traveling can be, so enjoy a cuppa from the complimentary welcome pack and once you are settled, we will orientate you around the basic area and give you an information folder with all the best restaurants, things to see and do.
Most villas and apartments are easy walking to the beach and shops, bars and a variety of restaurants.
The next day your holiday support worker will join you to talk about your itinerary for the coming week.
Prior to the holiday you would have received a long list of exciting, challenging or straight out relaxing activities to choose from, these are booked in advance so there will be a plan of what to look forward to in coming days.
You will also have your own Heads Up Mobile phone in case you need to call your support worker or the coordinator.
