The Location
Olive Tree Villa is located in Belek , 20 minutes drive from Antalya airport.
There is something for everyone to enjoy in the area from quiet lazy days by the private pool or on the beach which is only 3 minutes by car.This area attracts its fair share of sun worshippers, and there are all sorts of water sports to suit everyone. Your daytime could also be taken up with golf, cycling and horse riding. In the evening you can visit one of the many bars and restaurants in Kadriye or Belek.
It is a heavenly place where the summer season is about 8-9 months long. It is typically Mediterranean with hot and dry summers the temperature often rising above 30 degrees in July and August. Sunshine is guaranteed from April to October and the winters are pleasantly mild.
The Place
Belek allows you to bring the past into the future as the area is one of historical interest with Roman ruins, stunning rivers and beaches, interesting walks and much more.
The people are extremely friendly, as are Turkish people in general. The small shopping centre has a magical feeling and everything is so relaxed. An ideal place for couples, families and relaxing you couldn't find better.
The activities
If youšve had your fill of relaxing by your private pool or for those who wish to be more active there is always white water rafting, pony trekking, quad safari, paintballing and even skiing from December to March.
You are only 5 minutes from the small towns of Kadriye and Belek, both of which offer great shopping, many restaurants and very warm Turkish hospitality.
Shopping is one of the great pleasures of a trip to Turkey and the rich variety of Turkish crafts makes it impossible to resist buying just for starters! There is also an array of high street brand names at very low prices, shoes, jeans, shirts, handbags and much more.
There is an abundance of golf available with six championship courses available to play on. These are all within a 5/10 minute drive of the villa.

The Food
With two beautiful villages within 10 minutes its never too far to go and have an excellent meal, either with the family or perhaps a romantic dinner for two by the seafront. The food is superbly cooked and tastes fantastic and won't leave a bitter taste in your mouth when the time comes to collect the bill!
There are lots of restaurants in the local town of Kadriye serving traditional Turkish food such as kebabs and the famous Ottoman dish which is sizzling lamb and peppers in a tasty sauce topped with melted cheese, served in a red hot skillet. Fish in abundance that is caught the same day as it is enjoyed by many diners. Most of the restaurants serve a mezze and bread before your meal and will probably serve you fresh fruit at the end of the meal. Most restaurants also offer an excellent choice for vegetarians.
Shopping
Every Tuesday in Kadriye and every Saturday in Belek there is a market which is well worth a visit. Here you will find local farmers selling their wares from freshly picked oranges and lemons, fresh juicy olives, feta cheese, ripe tomatoes and a whole variety of other fruit and vegetables. Most of the produce at the market is grown locally, is all organic and is very cheap.
